I have never had a doctor take so much time with me. He showed me my MRI and explained, and showed me where the problem was and what he was going to do. Dr. Kuzmik is one of a kind.

Dr. Kuzmik was extremely good and caring in explaining x-rays etc., taking his time to make me understand the situation. I felt well cared for. Excellent experience.

Excellent doctor who explained my situation and options clearly and unhurriedly so I could ask questions or seek additional information. He reviewed my MRI thoroughly with me and described the needed surgery. He was very kind and respectful, which as an older woman I greatly appreciated since it is not always the case. His team was also very professional and responsive.

Bio

Dr. Gregory Kuzmik is a board-certified and fellowship-trained neurosurgeon specializing in spinal surgery. He obtained his medical degree from Yale University and completed his residency training in neurosurgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He completed a fellowship in minimally invasive & complex spine surgery at the University of California San Francisco. He treats a broad range of spinal pathology including degenerative conditions, tumors, trauma, infections, and spinal deformity. Dr. Kuzmik's philosophy is to first manage spinal conditions with a broad range of non-surgical treatments and only perform surgery when absolutely necessary. When surgery is required, he aims to perform the least invasive surgery possible. He does this using advanced surgical techniques and technologies including minimally invasive (MIS) approaches, neuro-navigation, and robotic spinal surgery.
