Deborah Ferretti is board certified as an advanced certified hospice and palliative care nurse, acute care nurse practitioner, and adult clinical nurse specialist. She has served the New Britain community as an advance practice RN for more than 20 years. Sixteen of those years has been in palliative care. Prior to her work in our community, she practiced in New Haven and New York. She obtained her Masters in Nursing at Pace University, NY and her Post-Masters Certificate from UCONN. She demonstrates a passion for patient-centered care and decision making, with a focus on compassionate care during complex illnesses. She has served as an educator for nurses and providers on palliative and end of life care, and is an End of Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC) trainer.
