Radiation therapy is performed on an outpatient basis at the Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute at The Hospital of Central Connecticut, part of the spacious and comprehensive cancer center that opened in 2015.

HOCC Cancer LocationThe radiation oncology center offers the most advanced technology in radiation therapy treatments for brain, lung, breast, prostate and a wide variety of other cancer types. The center provides coordinated and convenient care for patients in a comfortable setting featuring fireplaces, a cafe and a nature path in the rear of the building. Technologies include a TrueBeam Linear Accelerator which provides state-of-the-art precision and dosage in radiation treatment, leading to faster recovery times and improved outcomes.

Directions to the Radiation Oncology Treatment Center

From The Hospital of Central Connecticut-New Britain General Campus
From the hospital parking garage at 100 Grand St., turn left onto Grand Street and then turn left onto Linwood Street.

Take a right onto Hart Street at the next stop sign, and proceed about a half mile to Corbin Avenue/Route 372, and turn right.

Proceed approximately 1 mile and turn left on West Main Street.

Take a right onto Journey Road, just across the Plainville town line.

Continue on Journey Road and enter the facility parking lot.

From Hartford and Points East
Take Interstate 84 West to CT-72 East via Exit 35 (left lane exit) toward CT-9.

 

Take the CT-372 Corbin Avenue Exit 7.

Take a left onto Corbin Avenue and go left again onto West Main St (there is a Shell gas station on the left corner.)

Proceed on West Main Street approximately one mile and take a right onto Journey Road, just across the Plainville town line.

Continue on Journey Road and enter the facility parking lot.

From The Hospital of Central Connecticut-Bradley Memorial Campus and Other Points West
Take Interstate 84 East to CT-72 East via Exit 35 toward CT-9.

Take the CT-372 Corbin
Avenue Exit 7.

Take a left onto Corbin Avenue and go left again onto West Main St (there is a Shell gas station on the left corner.)

Proceed on West Main Street approximately one mile and take a right onto Journey Road, just across the Plainville town line.

Continue on Journey Road and enter the facility parking lot.

Ample parking is available in front of the building, with space set aside at the main entrance for drop-offs.
