Before You Arrive

Admitting

Depending on the reason for your visit, once you arrive at one of our locations you’ll be directed to the appropriate department by our knowledgeable staff. Kindly follow the admissions instructions to ensure prompt and attentive care. 

Care Assistance Partners Program

The Care Assistance Partners Program is our way of making sure you have the 24/7 support of a loved one while you’re in one of our hospitals because we know that can be invaluable at such a challenging time.

Going Home

Before discharge, your nurse will review and provide you with a copy of any post-hospital care instructions.

Advance Directives

Individuals admitted to the hospital are given information about advance directives and other health care decisions.

Billing & Insurance

The Hospital of Central Connecticut participates in most insurance plans. For questions about coverage, please contact your insurance provider.

Financial Assistance

Hartford HealthCare is committed to meeting your healthcare needs and treating you with compassion from the bedside to the billing office. We realize that most medical expenses are the result of unexpected illness or accidents and are difficult to budget for.

Interpretive Services

The Hospital of Central Connecticut makes every attempt to use our translators or translator systems for interpreting communication between patient and caregiver, to avoid the use of family members, friends or others who accompany patients being asked to act as interpreter for the patient.
